Logged into the community to see who was there and who had posted comments paying particular attention to those comments posted as responses by facilitators. Seem to be a few of our colleagues missing. I would guess from the readings that the facilitators role would be to try and find out the reason for absence.

there are also comments around the age of one of the articles which I would agree with. I believe that one of the roles of the facilitators and of the comunity members is to bring resources to the community. Perhaps if we feel unhappy about one of the given resources we should be looking for some ourselves.

I have a feeling about the course at the moment that we are a bit like a dinghy in the middle of a huge swimming pool. There are defined edges and lifeguards but the edges are so far away that it is going to be up to us the participants to work out how to get the dinghy to the side. The reason for feeling this way - perhaps the lack of rules and roles as per our readings? :)
